Meet Your Teachers
Founder of the international conscious dance practice, Aya®, and owner of Ananda, Danielle Eastman holds a Master’s in Exercise Physiology and has over twenty years of experience teaching conscious dance, fitness, yoga, martial arts, and energy work. After a decade of seeking, exploring, and teaching along the West Coast, Danielle returned to her home state of Iowa to be near family and share Aya with the Cedar Valley.
Along with 1000s of hours of yoga training and teaching experience, Laura, RYT-500, and Co-Founder of the State Street Yoga Co-op in Cedar Falls, also holds a strong passion for helping mothers-to-be. As a certified birth doula, with additional specialized training in prenatal yoga, and mom + baby yoga, Laura is passionate about helping women feel peaceful and confident in their bodies, and connect with their body’s intuitive wisdom.
Mary McInnis Meyer
Mary, RYT-500, MS-Engineering, and Founder of Field of Yoga Project, has 1000s of hours of yoga and meditation training and teaching experience. With her passion for relating ancient wisdom with the latest in biomechanics, physiology, and psychology, Mary – in very practical, pragmatic, and specific ways – is passionate about helping participants to expand their awareness and empower themselves.
